Who we are

Mexican Muscle is a fitness and food community app operated by the Mexican Muscle channel. This policy explains what we collect and why. Questions? Email hello@mexicanmuscle.net.

Information we collect

Account data: your email address, username, display name, bio and avatar.

Activity data: workouts logged, challenge progress, streaks, points, badges, event RSVPs, restaurant check-ins and reward redemptions.

Content you post: community posts, comments, reactions, direct messages, and progress photos or body metrics you choose to upload.

Technical data: basic device and browser information plus log data needed to keep the service secure and working.

How we use it

To create and secure your account and sign you in.

To power the features you use — leaderboards, crews, challenges, messaging and rewards.

To estimate nutrition macros when you submit a meal description to our AI helper.

To detect abuse, prevent fraud and keep the community safe.

What other people can see

Public by default: your username, avatar, bio, points, badges, streaks, crew membership and anything you post to the community feed.

Private by default: your email address, direct messages, progress photos and body metrics. Progress photos are stored in a private bucket and are only accessible to you.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the service providers who run the app for us — hosting, database and authentication, and the AI provider that processes meal descriptions you submit — and when required by law.

Data retention and your rights

We keep your data while your account is active. You can edit your profile at any time, delete individual posts, comments and photos, and request full account deletion by emailing hello@mexicanmuscle.net.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data. Contact us and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

Mexican Muscle is not intended for anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

If we update this policy we will change the date at the top and, for material changes, notify you in the app.
